Retreat VII: Viva Knack Vegas
Last month, Team Knack convened for our 7th ever company retreat, in sunny-but-not-as-warm-as-some-of-us-were-expecting Las Vegas!
Battling jet lag and flight delays, we settled into our sprawling Airbnb and took advantage of all it had to offer.
As always, dinners were a source of great conversation.
And then we really kicked off the week with a review of the previous year.
Once plates and laptops were cleared away, we brought out the games…
Including the traditional Trivial Pursuit night.
During the days, it was all about work — we even Skyped in the teammates who couldn’t make it!
Our Engineering Team discussed infrastructure and feature releases on the roof…
While the Customer Success Team took over the veranda and made plans to better empower customers in 2019.
Being in Las Vegas, though, we also thought we should get a taste of the local attractions…
Some chose to play a few rounds at Top Golf.
And some made their way through an Escape Room.
While others explored a nearby state park.
We also got to to fit in the first ever in-person Knack Book Club meeting! We read The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin and discussed it in the sunshine.
One of the most important things to come out of the retreat, though, was our first ever Knack hoodies! Some of us had been waiting for years and couldn’t believe the day had finally come.
As always, our gathering in Las Vegas was entertaining, enlightening, and invigorating. We came away with plenty of ideas, plans of actions, renewed energy, and shiny new Knack swag! We’re already counting down till the next one.
