How Knack Flows Work

Step 1: Select a Trigger

A trigger is an event that starts your Flow. Triggers can come from either Knack or Brevo. For example, you might start a workflow when a new Knack form is submitted, a record is updated, or a new contact subscribes in Brevo. Knack Flows detects the event instantly and initiates the automation.

Step 2: Set up an Action in Knack

Once a Trigger occurs, actions carry out your workflow tasks. In Knack, actions can Create, Update, or Find Records. In Brevo, actions can add or update contacts, modify attributes, assign segments, send emails using templates, trigger SMS, or enroll contacts in automated journeys. You can map fields between platforms and apply conditional logic, such as only syncing contacts with marketing opt-in enabled.
