How Knack Flows Work

Connect Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365 with Knack using Knack Flows to automate CRM workflows, synchronize entity data, and centralize customer and sales operations inside your application. This integration allows you to create, update, search, and retrieve CRM entities automatically while syncing data with your Knack database. Whether you're managing leads, accounts, opportunities, or custom entities, Knack transforms MS Dynamics CRM 365 data into structured dashboards, automated workflows, and operational tools without requiring custom development.

Select a Trigger

Step 1: Select a Trigger

A trigger is an event that starts your automation workflow. In an MS Dynamics CRM 365 and Knack integration, triggers can originate in MS Dynamics when a new entity is created or an existing entity is updated. Triggers can also originate in Knack when records are created, updated, or meet specific workflow conditions.

Add an Action to the Flow

Step 2: Set up an Action in Knack

Once a trigger occurs, actions execute the tasks within your Flow. In Knack, actions may include creating or updating records, logging CRM activity, assigning ownership, or triggering notifications. In MS Dynamics, actions include creating entities, retrieving entity data by ID, searching for entities, and updating entity records. Field mapping and conditional logic allow you to maintain consistency between systems and automate complex CRM processes.

Add More Actions and Automate

Step 3: Connect and Automate

When your Flow is ready, you can activate it immediately or extend it with additional automation steps. Your MS Dynamics CRM 365 and Knack platforms are now connected. CRM data flows seamlessly into your application, workflows can be triggered automatically from entity updates, and teams gain better visibility into customer and sales operations through structured dashboards.
