How Knack Flows Work

Connect Cloudflare with Knack Flows to enhance your security, performance, and reliability of your applications across the globe. This integration lets you automatically sync security events, monitor traffic patterns, track DDoS attacks, manage SSL certificates, and optimize content delivery directly within your Knack app. Build real-time dashboards, monitor threat intelligence, track performance metrics, and gain full visibility into your applications’ security postures and global performance, all from within your custom Knack portal.

Step 1: Select a Trigger

A trigger is an event in your automation that starts your Flow. You can select a trigger event in Cloudflare that will initiate your workflow. For example, you might choose "Security Event Detected" or "DDoS Attack Mitigated" as the trigger. Knack monitors Cloudflare for the selected trigger.

Step 2: Set up an Action in Knack

Once a Trigger has occurred, actions execute the tasks within your Flow. For example in Knack it could be: "Create security incident record." You can determine what happens in Knack once the Cloudflare trigger is activated. A Flow can contain one action, a sequence of custom actions, actions based on rules or conditions, and more. For example, you could set up an action to "Update threat dashboard" in Knack when a new security event is detected or performance threshold is exceeded.

Step 3: Connect and Automate

When your Knack Flow is ready, you can add more actions or start running it right away. Your Cloudflare and Knack apps are now seamlessly connected. Create a new record in your Knack app every time a security event occurs in Cloudflare, manage how those changes affect your security operations and more right from your Knack app.
