How Knack Flows Work

Connect Google Workspace Admin and Knack using Knack Flows to automate user management, streamline IT operations, and centralize identity-related workflows. This integration allows you to create, update, and manage Google Workspace users directly from Knack while also responding to events inside Google Workspace Admin. Step 1: Select a Trigger

A trigger is an event that starts your automation workflow. In a Google Workspace Admin and Knack integration, triggers can originate from Google Workspace Admin, such as a new user being created, a user being updated or deleted, or users being migrated, or from Knack when employee or account records are created or updated. Knack Flows detects these events and initiates the appropriate workflow.

Step 2: Set up an Action in Knack

Once a trigger occurs, actions define what happens next in your Flow. Google Workspace Admin actions can include creating users, updating user profiles, deleting accounts, or making custom API requests. Knack actions might include creating or updating internal records, assigning statuses, sending notifications, or routing requests for review. This allows identity and access changes to follow consistent, auditable processes.

Step 3: Connect and Automate

When your Flow is ready, you can activate it immediately or extend it with additional logic. Your Knack app and Google Workspace Admin are now connected. User lifecycle events can be managed centrally, tracked over time, and coordinated across teams. This makes identity administration a structured, automated workflow instead of a manual task list.
