How Knack Flows Work

Step 1: Select a Trigger

A trigger is an event that starts your automation workflow. In a Google Tasks and Knack integration, triggers can originate in Google Tasks, such as when a new task is created, updated, or marked complete. Triggers can also originate in Knack, such as when a new record is created, a workflow stage changes, or a record meets a specific condition.

Step 2: Set up an Action in Knack

Once a trigger occurs, actions define what happens next in your Flow. In Knack, actions may include updating task-tracking fields, assigning owners, logging completion timestamps, or sending notifications. In Google Tasks, actions include creating new tasks in a specific task list, updating tasks, searching for outstanding tasks, and creating new task lists.
